Fluid Power Safety Institute |
|
The Fluid Power Safety Institute was founded by Rory S. McLaren in 1998 to advance hydraulic safety.
The mission of the Fluid Power Safety Institute is to develop safety standards for engineering fluid power systems, for testing and troubleshooting fluid power components and systems. It also strives to develop fluid power safety certification courses for technical writers, hydraulic hose technicians, safety professionals, engineers, maintenance professionals, supervisors and managers, and machinery and equipment operators.
The Fluid Power Safety Institute also endeavors to advance fluid power safety in technical schools and colleges throughout the world and to make fluid power safety the basis for all hydraulic education.
They also intend to provide instructors and teachers with the knowledge they need to advance fluid power safety in their classrooms and to be a useful and meaningful resource for anyone who wants access to information about fluid power safety.
Their goal is to play a leading role in making the fluid power industry the safest industry in the world and to protect and serve, defiantly and tirelessly, the men and women who service, repair, and troubleshoot hydraulic systems. |
