New! The Most Advanced Fluid Power Training System in the World! (Model MF100D-TSE shown) The FPTI proudly announces the launch of its newest training system which consists of fully functional hydraulic components found in the fluid power industry. This unique computerized training system has been specially created to teach students, within a classroom setting, to gain both comprehensive theoretical knowledge of, and practical insight into, all aspects of industrial and mobile hydraulic systems including troubleshooting. The troubleshooting exercises are embedded in an onboard PLC. Almost every component on the trainer has an integrated solenoid valve which, when activated by the PLC, makes one or more components experience a "wear-related" problem. When a student selects a given exercise, a system schematic appears on the screen for the student to construct. Upon completion, the student touches "enter" and a list of symptoms appear on the touch-screen. The symptoms are identical to those a technician receives after discussing a problem with an operator. When the student again touches "enter,' the system schematic re-appears, and the computer automatically sets the faults in one or more components. The student uses actual diagnostic equipment to test and evaluate the "suspect" components. When the defective component(s) is found, the student simply touches the symbol for the component on the screen and automatically "fixes" the problem. There is absolutely no easier way to learn to learn how to troubleshoot hydraulic components - even when compared to working on an actual hydraulic system! |
